If you like them so much, why didn't you just say so? I gotta admit, I have the same thoughts about them as you do! Won't die? Check out www.snopes.com/business/market/taterbug.asp

We call them rollie pollies here. When you touch them they roll into a ball you can flick with your finger and they roll. I think it is a Nebraska thing.

Wonder why I instantly visualized you sucking in on the straw before you blew? Now THAT would be fun to watch!

No hot plates, I've got a spa with no pump and stagnant water, my back lawn is 3 1/2 FEET tall, and I've got more spare parts in the front lawn than I do grass.

Well, now that I printed this thread out, along with a few other pages of anti-Pytata Bug propaganda, and taped it all over school, I seem to have bestricken everybody's mind with the incendiary thoughts of the cursed Potaato Bug. Obviously, my hatred for the creatures is of their own invention, for it forces me to spread thoughts of such vile nature to the rest of the world.

Anyways, now the virus of evil has spread its self-sadistical fascination to the rest of the neighborhood, which means that now I am on a noble mission to CAPTURE a LIVE Potutu Bug for closer study of PURE HORROR! Stay tuned next week, for the scariest thing I have ever one; the holding of a Peetooty Bug in a Gladware container!

(Recommendations for Experimentations are Gladly Accepted.)

(And what do you want to bet that I'm not going to be able to find any now that I'm looking? )

Begle1, have you considered taking a sample of the air you breath and sending it away for analysis? What about your diet? Perhaps you are inadvertantly eating some of those poor bugs and your system is being taken over - assimilated. In short, you are being bugged. (I could play on that word but as this is a family site .....)
Are there more like you where you reside? Please tell us that you are the only one.
