The red insulated (used to be called "arctic") ones were always fine for me. Along with long johns, jeans and double sock of course!

I'm not fimiliar with any Extreme line.

for me they are fine if you are working an open air machine, any amount of walking and I gotta uzip legs and jacket to kep from sweating like crazy.... as for your line of work it depends on how mobile you are..... lotsa breaks and more truck time than outside you should be fine

My bad, the Arctic are the Black lined, the regular quilted ones are red inside.

I think these are different on account of the front zipper.
Might be easier for some guys to get into

I have a black set of the arctic extreme bibs and coat. Man they are warm. Pretty well waterproof, wind proof, and did I mention warm.

I just bought one of these the other day and I like it too.

Aweosme to hear guys, thanks for the info. keep it coming
Glad to hear they are pretty well waterproofed as i do a lot of snow detail. I hate kneeling down and getting instant wet knees from soaked through bibs.

I've never knelt in snow but rode a motorcycle in cold rain in them plenty. I bet you'll be happy with them. I had to order mine from some place up north a few years back when I got them because nobody in the south carried the arctic line. Sure is nice to be able to still buy a good made in USA coat.

I've got a pair with the black lining, and they are wicked warm. I wear them all the time in the winter. I use them making snow, skiing(when it is -20 or more), hunting, working outside. The are great pants and real warm. Wouldn't be anywere with out a set of carhartts. They usto make a pair of zip to knee pants with the red lining that are real nice to when you want wormth but not a set of bibs.

I actually saw a couple pair's of em in Tractor supply when looking for the regular insulated ones. They were like $120 if my memory serves me correctly. It was at the Tractor Supply off Montgomery road so it aint too far from you Horsehauler.

Thanks for the info. Cahall's workwear in Mt. Orab has some nice sales on carhartts and other brands up to 70% off plus 10% with a card i got in the mail. I'm not sure how much of the 70% he is giving with carhartt but if its more than that i will deffinately take a look at TSC
