Who Ropes?

Another useless post, but it should be good for demographics. You can select multiple options.

There ain't many things I can do real good; but, I can darn sure rope, and I still got all my fingers, too.

You want it caught, just let me within twenty-five feet of it.

I buried my good rope horse this spring.

The one I got now is so quick and edgy that I am about half scared of him.

He is a long way from being the horse that I did have.

Rough stock riders just can't afford a horse, truck, trailer, fuel, etc., etc.

You can get to a rough stock event in a Datsun; spurs, chaps, and a bull-rope don't take too much room.

The bull-riders get all the press; but, the real artists are saddle-bronc riders.

Rich, I think you got that backwards, ruffys are people who can't rope. I have heard of 6 ruffstock riders in one car built to haul 4 in limited comfort.

ME!!

for fun i team rope with my dad as the pic shows, as bear killer did, i too have lost my good rope horse tried several others and the red one my dads on, and no go.. as of yet. I have ranch roped, calf roped, and heeled as well, But my favorite is a good curled head loop

Rough stock? the real stars of the rodeo arent bullriders, they are the bronc riders, horses were the start of rodeo... not bulls...

I see no option to vote for "Goat-Roping".
While spending the past 19 years working on a Military Installation, I have managed to become quite proficient at this skill.

I'm sorry I didn't even think of that, I'm about to go rope a goat myself.

An already roped goat is about as hard to get a loop on as a rooster.

It don't take but one time to educate a goat.
