Re:White Christmas

Merry X-mas all, its raining here in RI right now, but the snow is coming later today. You know, just about the time you've already eaten too much and have to leave the relative's houses and come home, put the plow on and go back to their houses... wait, why don't I put it on now, then I can eat even more and just plow on the way out!! ;D

Usually we are up to our navels in snow this time of year, but we're having a "mostly" white Christmas, with about an inch or so on the ground.

Re:White Christmas

We have "officially a white Christmas" according to the National Weather Service because they measured 2" on the ground an Duluth Int'l Airport. There is only abot 3/4" at my house about 10 miles away though.
[move]MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!![/move]

Re:White Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone !!!

Thought we were gonna get some "white" this morning when the leading edge of a cold front rolled through bringing some REAL BIG raindrops that sounded like hail on the windows. Looked outside and it was just wet. Took the dogs out for a walk and it was humid and muggy as all get-out (almost 80 degrees).

Sure was hard to get into the holiday mood but just reading all of your posts and seeing the snow pictures definately helped. Thanks !!!

PISTOL
Re:White Christmas

We had a white Christmas here as well, the ice took out the power on our get together so things kind of broke up early. It was for the best as driving conditions were getting very hazardous anyway.

Frozen north country, no snow on the ground, just below freezing temp. Doesn't feel or look like Christmas, Bah humbug!
