Another topic got me to thinking about the difference in viewpoints between geographic regions and the associated stereotypes that coincide with them.<br><br>I was born/raised outside Raleigh, NC in a farming community that has now become a bunch of suburban enclaves for transplants working in the Research Triangle Park (Silicon Valley East). I reckon you could call it the New South.<br><br>Anybody else?

I was born in San Jose California and raised in the mountains of northern California.<br><br> When I retired from the Army I bought a little mountain top in West Virginia and enjoy the slower life style it allows me here. I think WV is the best kept secret in the US.
