I have two Rotts and not matter what food they eat, they still fart. They do fart less when eating Benefull (sp?). But if they sit down by you its like sitting next to the wind section of a symphony! Also, I don't feed mine table scraps either, but i found out if someone does sneak them food they get bad gas too.

my akita (11mnths) has failed one cat and a few muscrats so far but he is still on the hunt for a rabit. yet i am pleased he has found no skunks as i feel farts will not compare

I know my neighbor used to shred a small amount of ginger and mix it in the food. Its for the digestive tract and for the rank breath they can get. Not a lot of it though.

A K&N filter over oiled should fit ok.
