Re:What are you paying for fuel??

Pilot bought out the Williams chain and so now there are several Polot stops around Alabama. Unfortunately Pilot and Flying J on a card are more expensive than others by a few cents.

Re:What are you paying for fuel??

40 miles North of Denver, at last fill was:

Diesel - $1.47

Gas
85 Octane - $1.65
87 Octane - $1.75
91 Octane - $1.85

My 1500 had to run 91 Octane or higher and it got about 13.5 mpg. With the CTD getting about 19 mpg under typical driving, and saving almost $.40 per gallon, my CTD is saving me almost $60 per 1,000 miles. It's going to more than pay for itself over my old gasser. ;D

I wouldnt ever use Wally World or Randals or Albertsons any of those. I will only use Texaco (shell) or Moble or CHevron.

Why?? I know a lot of diesel owners use Wally World without any problems. The Shell station down the road wants $1.529 for premium diesel.

Re:What are you paying for fuel??

I tried the fuel station that opened up in the parking lot of the grocery store I frequent, mainly due to the .05 cents off per gallon with $20.00 in store purchase.

My truck didn't like it much, felt like less power, seat of the pants wise, and it didn't fair too well on the mpg either, it is Sinclair.

I'll stick with the 2 big name stations I frequent, Chevron and Phillips.
Currently $1.65 per gallon, Diesel.

Haven't seen "Premium Diesel" for sale anywhere in Utah.
Haven't really looked long and hard for it either, just in passing.

I haven't notice any difference in mileage or performance from premium diesel to regular diesel with my truck. I have ran three tanks of Shell premium diesel and the rest with either Conoco or Wally World.
