Like I said above, age of consent shouldn't matter. 16 or 60, doing something in someone else's house, that you KNOW you shouldn't be doing in the first place because the person that owns that house wouldn't approve, is irresponsible, rude and just plain WRONG! If you're going to do something you know to be wrong, expect to pay the consequences.

I think the guy did the right thing... almost. A few shots to the 'sensitive' areas is fine for effect. And to get your point across. But a weapon should never be used to threaten or wound, only to kill. So once he saw that the guy was still alive he should have finished the job properly.

i try to tell my daughter everything i can about bad boys i pretty much know all the tricks of the trade, like i said i was a parents nightmare lol. if your gonna shoot someone for consentual sex with your daughter wouldnt rocksalt be the best. kinda like the old days for you old timers. but the daughter should have been punished. also just because its consentual its still illegal if they are under 18 and i believe the parents can press charges.

 

Hmmmm. That's a good point. I don't know if the states that recognize it's consensual at 16 or 17 are still bound to enforce statutory rape under 18.

Bottom line as far as I'M concerned tho, is if it's MY house and I say 'no, you're not gonna do that', then you ain't gonna do it!

wow, I actually had my nephews over and they had brought friends that were girls. I stated (and I am loud no matter when) girls upstairs, boys downstairs. one girl was not acting comfortably, so I asked her if she wanted to call her folks, or i'll drive her home (100 miles away). timidly, she said no.
creak sound in the night and I was face to face with one teen nephew who had brought the girl. no means no. his smirk told me 'yeah, you can't stay awake all night'. I slept at the door. that is the attitude I mean. father is the same way. catch me if you can.
