Yep gloves here too. But then I handle probably over a million gallons of the stuff a year through a 4" drop hose. Yes I use a pair of Best Rubber gloves when fueling either one of my Cummins.

 

Gloves only protect against getting diesel on my hands. The place I get fuel has it all over the ground from spillage. I get it on my feet and then on the floor mats and later on the carpet at home. Looks like I'll have to put my galoshes on when I fuel up.

Yes I do, I hate child molesters!

It just takes 1 glove to grab the pump spout, the other hand doesn't get diesel all over it. Besides I can make a pair of gloves last twice as long that way

I use gloves, or at least a napkin...... diesel has qualities like onions do, the smell take 2 days to come off.

 

count me as a wuss too, been wearing gloves when wrenching since 1994.

Put me in the wuss column, too. I keep a box of latex gloves under the seat and put one on when I fill up.

I guess I'd rather be a wuss than stink... or get cancer.

 

oh no better delete this thread before everyone thinks were wusses! i get to side step this one cause here in orygun we get our fuel pumped while we sit in the truck!
