Haha, yeah... I'm the most laid back person at work when it comes to people's personal lives (my work is a huge gossip mill so I try to fight that), I'm all about staying out of people's business but I think I might have to start "getting involved" in other people's lives on this one.

If you did spill it on your crotch you could have sued them for the coffee being to hot and burning you, and then maybe your smoke would have burned you during your fall which you could have sued them for as well because as we all know the company should not be stressing you to the point that you need to smoke.........

The Nurse, Is there a common interest? Her towards you? If I had an idea there was, looking in her eyes across the room seeing if there is a connection or if it's a off limits area. You know the deal, when you look at her or if she is looking at you and you look up and she or you turns your head as if your not looking. When this happened with me, I'd keep on looking and you could hold it then slowly turn away. You know the game, the little smile and so on. If there is that connection, or you feel so, ask her to coffee or whatever is the norm now. Don't hurt to ask, worse that can happen is she'll say no and there won't be any loss right? I ask things at work, not this type of situation, but other things most people would not because what'll happen...I'll get fired?? Whipdy doo, just a short vacation before my next job.

I would advise caution as well, sexual harassment and all that stuff today. Talk to her etc, etc, but it won't hurt to ask her out to coffee, lunch. Good luck to both of you, ankle man and Mr. lova lova!! (old song, Shaggy I believe, Mr. boombostic or something)

Granted, she's no supermodel, but has that "cuteness" factor (if that's even a term of any kind). I do know this already though, she's smarter than a corner fence post on the farm. That in itself speaks volumes over what I've been meeting around here.

Seriously, just ask her how her day is going and wing it from there and finish with a "what are you doing this weekend?" You'll find out real quick if she is interested.

 

What do you guys think I haven't talked to her......we do have to converse as part of our jobs.

She's only working Thursdays and Fridays until she gets moved up here. I guess this gives me a couple more days to work on the Barry White mannerisms and get the music downloaded into my PC at work too.
