Re:What I don't like about my Dodge

Motorcycles have been required to have headlights on in the daytime for several years.
This was to make it easier for the oncoming cars to see us on the road, preventing accidents.

As more and more cars are manufactured with DRLs, the number of collisions between cars and motorcycles has jumped at an alarming rate.
Mostly due to the car driver turning left in front of the motorcycle.

People have now become accustomed to seeing lights on during the day, so now again, motorcyles are "invisible".

That's MY complaint with DLRs.

One thing you gotta give Ford credit for.....with their automatic headlights you can turn them on or off as you please. If only they had a Cummins...

Re:What I don't like about my Dodge

O.k.....
My turn.............

I don't like:

1. NO STINKING KEYLESS ENTRY! This was an "option" on my SLT! I think a $5k saturn comes standard with this!

2. The silly looking stock 245/75 R16 tires that came with my 02'......Have 315/75 R16 now with the 6" lift. I hope this one did not offend anyone but the 03' Rams with the big bold hood grills and tiny tires look rediculous (my opinion only). A big truck should have a BIG FOOT!

3. No standard handle on the drivers side (you know the one up beside the windshield) to help me climb in.....I always grab the wheel which wobbles.

O.k....I feel better now.

Re:What I don't like about my Dodge

yea, keyless entry was available only as an option on the 02 SLT and standard on the Laramie package. towhooks were optional too

Also, the 02's were available with 265/75 tires. again, an option. I gotta agree that those silly 245s look pretty bad. The 03s come standard with 265s which I agree is too small. I put 285s on mine.

The 03s have a drivers side grab handle.

Re:What I don't like about my Dodge

I am getting in on this alittle late but it appears we have an energizer bunny here anyway. I don't like the non-chip resistant pant. I don't like the idea of replacing a lift pump as often as I replace my rear end oil. I don't like not having the needed gauges to tell me when something is wrong. I mean really....give me a low fuel to the injector pump signal so I don't need a gauge, talk about a money maker(tell me when my injection pump craps out because the lift pump went awhile back). I want a bullet proof clutch from the factory. I want a high quality air intake filtration system and 4"exhaust with no restictions. I want larger fuel lines and fittings and a computer program that unleases the power, while maintaing economy. I want to quit now cause as mentioned before, all of these are offered after market. I am a very happy sailor... ;D I absolutely love my truck and will use the force and not shy to the dark side very often. Only when other brand trucks are around. CHEVY DUDE get a sense of humor and keep posting. Opinions are like arm pits, everyone has them and they usually stink(PC correct). Them's and the other con's are my list of whinny baby comments. HOW MANY DODGES DO YOU SEE IN THE JUNK YARD? A lot less than the other brands!
