What the ... Gosh Darn ... Son of a ... (CRASH BANG BOOM THUD) who left the mop bucket in front of the door again?!?!And why was it filled with red jello instead of soap water?

Good evening all, took the GF out for a nice steak dinner tonight. Spent some cash on it but it was worth it and it was a congrats dinner for her passing her test. Slow day again at work, from the way thing have been and with out buyout sounds like we're on borrowed time right now. Should be hearing back soon from the Class I RR I interviewed with 3 weeks ago. Talked with my brother tonight, he's looking for a good job, he's working 3 right now and is still in college part time. I was telling him about a job for an entry level dispacter with my railroad tonight, he wants to submit his resume for it so I'm gonna try an help him get a decent job for once. Gotta hand it to him, the kid is a work-o-holic. He work 6 and 7 days a week most of the year and most of those days are at least 10 -12 hrs. He's alot better than me, I'm only good for 8 a day and they are luck that they can get me to do that sometimes. Got burnt out on OT a few yrs ago at an old job doing 16 and 18 hrs a day , that gets old. Gonna sit down with the gf and relax for a while, maybe have a couple drinks.

I am alive and well.
Between a couple of "JTA" missions and an "inspection", life has been busy.
Rode the scooter down south. 1100 miles in 17 1/2 hours. Scooter did good, hiney didn't.
Coming back was two days and wasn't bad. At 58 cents per mile, I managed to make abit of money off that trip.
Got with the personnel folks on retiring. Locked in on 31 Jan 09. Still got a minor issue with the Navy on some TDRL time. However, that will catch up a bit later. 2 years, 7 months will make a bit of difference, but nothing to
sweat.
Better git, eyelids are not functioning like they should.
Hollar at y'all tomorrow.

It doesn't look good for rodeoing the buffer tonight Unless someone want to bring some extension cords in.We also need to get one of those mechanical bulls to put in the breakroom.

Cin is thinking
We had one before and had to get rid of it. Scott got too jealous.

Give it to Hat. I'm sure he has something else that needs snatching out of the ground.

Matt, congrats to the GF. That's the last test?

Dang busy night. Keeping me from shopping for CAR parts (non automotive). Bout to get medievil on the radio. Had to crack the whip on a whiner at the start of the shift. I think we're missing some delineators on the highway. about to assign a delineator count.

Shortround, good to see ya. Springfield project is on hold, but I'm building a black gun you and top would be proud of.

Morning all, should be pretty here today, blue sky and low 70's. Did the hayride for trunk or treat at church last night. Daughter and grandson showed up, he was a cat. As soon as I can find where the wife put the camera I'll post a pic. I see Lary was wearing his alarm clock costume this morning. As soon as I find a bat I'll hit the snooze.

Mornin' All!

Brisk -5*F this AM. Back in the hole today for another week. Dayshift sucks....

Got the fuel tank set for my buddy last night. Ever try to heft a 300gal steel fuel tank on to a stand in the cold? It is an interesting proposition to say the least.... Ended up strapping the stand to the tank and standing the whole shebang as one piece then leveling it. Oh yeah, we ran out of daylight as well...... But all is good. He had oil fired heat for the night.
