I have a plow for my truck which i rarely use now. but from time to time ill put it on.its a unimount 9' , bought back in 98 or 99 i think.

a few things for the western plow crowd.

1. when i plug the harnesses in, the lights wont switch over. i was told there was solonoid that controls this, but havent hadmuch luck finding it, or a replacement, suggestions?

2. naturally, plows get sloppy after time. can i heat up and try and tighten down the "c" shaped part where the upper frame slides under? or am i asking for it to fail after heating it or trying to compress it

3. what works for repainting. I am not going to bother getting the blade re powder coated, frankly i think western does a poor job to begin with.
