Went from Sony to a Canon
Went from Sony to a Canon
Well I finally got myself a new digital camera to play with, I had a Sony DSC-F828 and it started having problems after about 10,000 pictures so I dumped it and bought the Canon 30-D DSLR and the 28-135mm Image Stabilizer Ultrasonic lens also the 18-35mm for close-up work.
So far I only have about 200 pictures on it but it looks like it is going to be fun.
It is a bit hard getting used to a full size body again after so many years because I have always taken my camera with me wherever I go.
I still need to get a decent strobe in the 150' range and also I need to get a good Ring Light for close-up work.
Do any of you have one of these and how do you like them?
What kind of pictures do you take?
I got it for just under $3,000.00 for the body, 2 lenses and a good warranty.
I know I could have bought about 4 killer turbo's for this price but I really needed it.

I don't have the Digital SLR but I have 2 Cannon digital's. An SD300 and an A-95. Both are excellent camera's easy to use and take great picture's. I think you will like your Cannon. They are great cameras.
