Hey, they're good lookin' trucks and hopefully the 6.0 has the bugs worked out. Nothing like getting a new truck, enjoy it.

...and hang around, let us know how it going.

Transplant

Should have kept the Dodge for the transplant. Do a rebuild and drop it in with an allison tranny.

Why not try a Freightliner or International (with a DT-466, not their pairing with Ford)? You could even go with an FL-120 or Pete and put a toilet on the truck and it's legal as an RV (that's Texas anyway)

I hope you enjoy it and I hope it lasts well for you. I would have gone a little bit bigger on the Ford.... to the point of getting a 5.9 Cummins in it.....

Maybe one like this....
It's Big, It's Red, and it has LOTS of chrome

That's just a tad too big for a daily driver.

It was the only truck that would get us legal towing our fifth wheel without going to something bigger than a one ton. We did get the A plan pricing and saved a bundle so that was a big factor too.
I must admit it is a good looking truck and the creature comforts are great but it's no CTD. It's too quite and what you can hear sounds weird. I'm having a hard time bonding with it. I'm really ****** at Chrysler for not making a truck that has the same towing numbers as Ford!!!

Cleaned my stuff out of my Dodge yesterday and started crying, Mr. Flash thought I had lost my mind. I love my Dodge I'm really going to miss it.

Okay go ahead and give me a hard time about the powerjoke and get it over with, I've been dreading this for days.

Flash

Hope that that 6.oh-no does good for you Flash. On the positive side, even if it doesn't, you have a nice chassis for a Cummins conversion.

Somehow, I think that you'll come back from the dark side in a few years so we'll keep your place available here at DRT. Good luck with your new toy.

Don't have any pictures yet. We picked it up in OK the morning the ice storm hit, hauled butt back south and it's been raining ever since. When the weather clears up I'll post some pics.

I think it'll pull faster than 81, a buddy of mine has an 06 Tow Boss and his will run 90.
Oh, even worse, you went to Oklahoma to get it. Next you'll be saying that your run around car/truck is a ricer. I'm going to go see a therapist about abandonment issues. (Good luck)

Who in their right mind would want to tow a huge 5th wheel 80 mpg. Not me!!!

Never a car and for sure not a ricer.

I'm having abandoment issues too. My poor Dodge is just sitting out there looking at me and I can hear it crying "Why did you abandon me Flash, don't you love me anymore." I'm having real issues about this. I know when someone buys it I'm going to have a breakdown.
What is the name of your therapist.
