The only thing I accomplished yesterday was taking Morris for a long walk.

44° and partly cloudy. More rain today. Didn't clean out the shop, I did fix the electrical problem. A bad breaker. Luckily I have spars. Sent a resume to a heavy equipment company. We shall see.

Quite a smokey week down here in the PNW. Finally saw a bit of rain last night and southerly breeze, but that's where the smoke is coming from...few small projects today.

36°F here in Pennsyltucky this morning. I built the first fire in the shop woodburner today to combat the temps, and working on a Scattermax LLY to remind me why I don't own an inferior diesel.

Its going to be a long wait until summer time.

Thank God for gin.

More rain and cooling temperatures. Rain/snow mix in the forecast. The snow line is moving down the mountains.

I like the cooling trends and leaves starting to turn, and cleaner air, thank God the smoke is going away....I'll choose when to pollute my back yard with cigar smoke, thank you.

Afternoon folks.

Been trying to get back over here a bit more, been crazy busy. It's nice to see the hard core folks still hanging in there.

32°and yesterdays rain is turning to ice. Leaves have already turned and starting to fall off. Today I get to take Mr. Morris in for his annual inspection. He sure wasn't happy seeing that critter crate in the kitchen last night.

Look like another frost tonight. That make 5 hard frosts over the past 6 days.
It has been great for the low humidity, adding some color to the trees and killing off a few bugs.l

My heater has been kicking on for a month. A little warmer with rain coming through, 35°. We all survived the vet visit. Instead of stuffing Mr. Morris in the cage, we let him "free range" the car. He did a lot better this time, just shed a lot of hair. He mostly looked out the window and enjoyed the scenery. 16# of muscle the vet called him, besides being a grouch. We warned them. Other than needing some dental work, he was in great shape for a 10 year old.

43° and some showers. Had a job interview yesterday. A heavy equipment repair outfit is looking for mechanics so I gave them my resume. We talked for over an hour. I don't know what my chances are, but I guess I had his attention well enough to call me in. I'm going to talk to another guy today about delivering bottled water.

44°, cloudy and a chance of rain. No shows yesterday. A guy was supposed to pick up the BBQ gill. Another guy was supposed to contact me about a drivers job. Continued the rewire of my shop. Filed a lost package report with the post office. Not driving the trucks enough to burn through my reserve fuel, may wind up with jelled fuel again.

The weather is forecasted for almost 80 highs and 60F lows for the weekend. We have had low humidity after a week of almost nightly frosts.
Should be some good weather for being outside, I plan on getting a few more cords of wood stacked.

Might take an afternoon foliage drive with the family, in one if the old Dodges on Sunday, if I get most of my work done.
