You should see the tree we felled this AM Don, The rot I spoke of doesn't go far up the trunk and the grain is super tight, nice and red. It ought to make real purty boards! Almost a shame to hide them as underdecking. Give me a week or so lead time as to when you're ready to saw so I can get a few blades sharpened.

But who's counting, right? Seriously tho, you have every right to be excited! Heck, I'M almost as excited FOR ya! Oh, and BTW, we better get a pic of you two together after all this excitement!

Class went well. Even the principal and the District Superintendent took a turn at sawing on the mill! Now the Super wants us to do a presentation to his pals at the Rotary Club!

I will. I may or may not leave the top exposed, maybe I'll see how well the planer is running. You will still see them from below though. Looks good.

Evening everyone

Ma, good to see you back!

Blake, nice video. But for me it should be renamed 80 tons...that how much was spilled in the building I cleaned out. Glad I had the use of a fire hose to blast the coal out the door.

Got tomorrow off, supervisor won't let me come in for double time and a half! Darn boss!

Gonna help my mom with hauling off the leaves and yard waste she has piled up at their house.

Thanks to all the Veterns for putting your lives on the line for our freedom!

I saw a picture of my mom's boyfriend in a leisure suit once... never seen one in person that I remember. Then again, I was 7 when the 70's ended...

Evening Matt

Reminds me of a incident at the rice mill in town. Worked there just outta high school for a summer. Couple of idiots was told to pay attention to the grain elevator and didnt, let it run over and dumped two 20 ton tandem dump loads of rice on the ground. When they went to get the front end loader the boss got mad at em and handed em two shovels and a wheelbarrow. Took em close to a week to get it cleaned up.

Evening DTR
