NXTx2 coats topped with either Megs #16 or Gold Class, looks sweet, or believe it or not Turtle Wax Platinum or Liquid Ice, check out autopia.com to review the products.

Meguires No.26 Yellow wax is the best I've used yet. Gold class is good but i prefer No.26. I just clayed, used the No.7 hand glaze and the No.26 yellow wax and my truck has a beautiful shine on it.

Some of you guys are posting about polishes. While they will make it shine & get the fine scratches out, it won't give any protection to the paints finish. Just a late night thought.

Zainos with the activator added will protect your paint for at least 6 monts. I have used it on all of my vehicles and it is awsome. 4 months after application, you can wash the truck and throw your towel on the hood and it will still slide off. It leaves the surface so smooth for so long its amazing. Its the only product I have seen that will not let road salt stick to the truck. Just hose it off and its gone. I will always use Zainos. Just read about it.

So, are there any waxes to avoid? I think all brands have people who swear by them...

For the New truck I use Meguires Gold liquid... goes on easy and comes off easy but keep it away from the plastic stuff..

I also have a 91 black S-10 that has been outside it's whole life.. Paint was pretty oxidized and poor looking.. I picked up some new finish, it was real easy to use and the truck looks almost new... (pic in my gallery)...
