Zero early hundred hours. Job is so demanding that I an getting reenforcements this morning. Too much stress dealing with half a dozen or so phone calls yesterday.
Was talked to late yesterday about being too rough on the junior field grades. Big Boss felt that running one off after only two hours was likened to the use of excessive force, so I needed to back off and extend it out to 4 to 6 hours to lessen the receiving individuals stress. I had forgotten about the "stress cards" being issued to the new troops. ;D That will probably reflect on my evaluation later on.
Things are going smooth. Most of COL Murphys troops have been contained outside the wire.
Gotta roll and see what the night crew had going.
Have a good one folks.

Shovehead- Enjoy the ride and watch out for the crazies.
Should be a real uneventful day ... I excused myself from the one meeting that I had for the day and may schedule a long overdue meeting with Charlie Tuna this afternoon.
You guys / gal have a great DTR day ... see ya this evening.

Morning all, my Friday. ;D 8) Woe to the people on the other end of the phone. Four days off kinda diminishes the but chewings that get planned today for being sarcastic to people who don't understand the purpose of 911.
Salmon are in the rivers, but budget's been too tight for the new rod I want. Don't want to settle for last years problems with a mediocre rod. Broke it on a steely. I guess I'll be spending more time in the woods with Kaley, but I'm dying to get the smoker going. Gotta pick up some reach-out-and-touch'em field loads today. Gonna try the new barrel on the wingmaster.

Afternoon all, Weather is sunny for the most part and a humid 85 degrees. Tropicals are still authorized and recommended. Can't wait til tomorrow, gonna go get abmbi like robin hood and hopefully some fun from my number 1 lady. Haven't seen her for 8 days and richard wants to shake hands with someone new. Truck seems to be slipping the clutch alittle and thats not what I wanted the day before a trip. Oh well, guess I can nurse her for the 6 hour ride. Gotta get all my gear together and try no to forget the rugrats. Salmon on the grill with some shrooms and lemon sound s delightful. Maybe some seasoning to go with. Tater in foil and corn on the cob woulg go nice too. Pistol aint MWR's job doing the tuna thing. Bet you get all the discounts on equipment too! Good luck on the pond and watch out for the natives. See yuh later on, gotta get my ruck packed and the brews on ice. ;D

Back in the mid-sixties, Pacific Coho and Chinook salmon were introduced into Michigan streams to help control an overabundant Alewife population. It worked. Now the beaches don't smell from dead Alewifes and you can catch Pacific Salmon in Lake Michigan and connected streams.

Ahhhh Saturday morning,
Dogs were up @ 0530.
Wifey left for work @ 0700.
Now it's just me, a cup o coffee, and the internet..........
Hope everyone has a safe 3 day weekend (those that get Columbus day off)
Only in America could you have a day off to celebrate a guy who got lost and wouldn't stop for directions.
Have a great DTR day. 8)
