Sure that isn’t news every one that is in the water business knows that water runs everywhere. Poop runs down hill, payday is on Friday and don’t bit your fingernails.

If the water can go uphill why would not the plane fly?

I was poking fun at the plane thread. My bother flies for a living, I meant to send him that thread when it was hot.

Momentum and the vapor is the key here I guess, the water is actually running down hill on the ridges, but uphill overall.

Stuff like that is soo cool. There is a place here in Indiana that if you stop and put your truck in nutural it will coast up hill. Weirdest thing I have ever seen but it happens. I think its around Brownsburg, they call it Gravity Hill. Worth the drive to go check it out.

This has to be like some kind of illusion, right? It's like when you've been driving in the mountians and you think you're heading downhill, but your still lugging along??
I've gotten that feeling running up in the Poconos, after a while on long not so high slopes it's hard to tell which way you're going.

if this is supposed to cool computer chips, how is a boiling hot puddle of water going to cool anything?

It's an illusion.

I've seen women turn into men, men turn into women, and have tasted the sound of yellow before; I know that it's a convincing illusion, but it's an illusion just the same.

Oh, and the plane won't fly. The thrust will not be able to overcome the friction of the axle bearings, and therefore the infinite loop of acceleration will be stopped without the plane achieving any lift.

Unless ground affect off of the conveyor is accounted for, but I think we can all ignore that for the sake of simplicity...

(Never has THIS: been more relevant...)

whats really cool (pun intended) is liquid helium (4 Kelvin). it will flow out of a beaker using the same physical phenomenon.

Well; if you heat the conveyor belt to a really hot temperature, and put water on it, then the water will lift the plane from the conveyor, removing any friction anyone said it could have had, and therefore the plane will fly. BTW: The plane will fly
