Another crisp autuminal day in the flat lands of Nebraska. Sun is just deciding to rise up over a clear morning. The smell of coffee is filling the galley (that's a kitchen for all yous non hackers) and the work day's list of todo's is filling up fast.

It's just a great darn day to be alive.

Then I get up and read the papers headlines "SHOULD WE STAY?" in Iraq after 2,000 dead. ARRRRG! There is going to be a letter to the editor over this crapola!

Oh well, not all things in the day go as planned.

Mornin' all - - another gorgeous day in Paradise. Sure glad Wilma cleaned things all up down here. Now we can relax, open the doors and windows and relax and enjoy. Only problem is the pool is getting a little chilly.

Hotdram - - cute. Wondered if that was a word - - now I know.

Scotty - - I am picturing you 25# lighter and stronger - - scarry thought. Remind me to not tick you off. Still think I can outrun ya.

Busy day today - - I am tackling the garage. Had enough - - going to clean it out and be brutal. Warned the CFO to be close if she wants to save any of "her" stuff, otherwise, don't come looking for it - - it's gone, baby. Then, I will have room to work on the TBird without banging my head.

Gotta go have fun, see ya.

Looks like I will be fine driving 700 miles this wknd and another 2200 mid November...lots of walking is on the list. I was surprised how I dropped weight so fast with walking...easy on the joints and nice to get some nature back in my life. Maybe I do have a neck...time will tell.

Hehehehe .... string of bad luck is continuing. My muffler decided to divorce my car this morning. Had to tie it back up with the string from my boonie hat so I could make it to work. Sounds real good .

No time for coffee and conversation ... late for the first meeting.

Enjoy the day ... gonna be a doozy !!

Good morning. 5 am here on the east side. is really old...at least 5 hours old. Tastes good . Still al little burn.

Septic and drain lines inspected. All good. Time to start knocking down the trees. Boy is this gonna be some work. . 49.5 hours so far. Gotta work 7 this week. Looks like around 77 hours. Catching up to DD4x4, but I'll wager he is compensated considerably better than myself . Maybe I should urge my wife to get a job . I'd have to hire someone to take care of the boys .

Ya'll enjoy the weather and have a good day. - JKE

GOOD MORINING DTR!!!!

is brewing, maybe FD will make some more omeletes this morning....

not much doing here... backfilled the water line trench yesterday( by hand)...
quite a work-out.....I can sure feel it in my back and shoulders today...

My youngest managed to total her Honda last night, thankfully she isnt hurt, just a few bruises. She decided to try and make a U-turn by turning onto a side street and cutting back across traffic.... ...
had a sudden and abrupt meeting with a Ferd Excursion. Guess what happens when a BIG SUV meets a little Honda? The impact was immediatly in front of the drivers door and took off the whole front end of the Honda. lieraly tore the front halfway off her car...
I am trying to be mad at her for DWHUA, but caint.... just too glad she wasnt hurt......
Back when I worked wrecks, I used to remind upset parents that the cars can be replaced easier than the kids....maybe thats why I cant seem to get mad at her? at any rate, anyone want a slightly used Accord?( now an Accord-ion)...cheap...real cheap........GOOD JUDGEMENT COMES FROM EXPERIENCE.......A LOT OF EXPERIENCE COMES FROM POOR JUDGEMENT..

Well. is done and I need a huge dose of caffine....

Got the bad news yesterday.
I've got to go TDY from 27 Nov to 17 Dec. To Hawaii. At no expense to myself
Just thought I'd let you guys know so you can feel sorry for me.
This is just one of those things that some of us have to face during our lifetime. I've got a real positive attitude and think I'll be able to pull through this crisis with minimal physical and psycological damage.
TIA for all your thoughts and prayers.
