Roids can do some strange things to folks.
On another trip near my Older Twin, my girlfriend and now wife got a room at the Super 8 over in WV...cannot remember the town. I should have known that the 'experience' was going to be a strange one when the guy came out in a pink house coat when I rang the bell to get my room.
The guy? was really stoned, could barely speak english and struggled with getting the key programmed. We were so tired, it did not matter...yet.We get up to our room and I turn on the light. AC is smashed in the wall. Blood and snot all over the room...to me it looked like a fight scene. Nasty.
So we go back down to the front desk to get my money back and leave. Nobody there...nobody answers the bell. Two other people come in and are waiting too. Then this Mercedes pulls up and a guy in a suit goes in a side door and comes to the front desk. He was the owner and when I told him what the room was like and how the guy looked that checked us in...he told us that there was nobody working and that is why he came in. Turns out the guy that checked me in was a street person that 'made them selves comfortable' during the staff absence and took my money. LOL The owner was cool about it and gave me my $ back. We ended up next door at the Days Inn, pool side. I ordered a pizza, waited and waited and waited for it to arrive. Finally I called and the guy said they delivered it. I told him I never got it. I look outside while I am on the phone and heres two guys by the pool eating pizza.
The delivery guy asked them if they ordered and they said yes...and bought my pizza.
Very strange area.Dominos sent out a replacement...free.

Wonderful morning to all in DTR land. Great day to be alive. I was waiting for someone to wish me happy anniversary - - did they? NO. Lots of love around here. At this moment, 10 years ago, they were wheeling me out of the operating room after emergency surgery splitting my chest open and doing a triple bypass. That was after crashing it (flat lining) while in the rescue wagon. Very interesting experience and day to say the least. Sooooo, gang - - it is a wonderful day and I am glad God spared me for another ten years to harrass you guys.
an experience like that does change your outlook on life and things. Makes you appreciate some of the little things that used to whisk right by you - - also makes you appreciate a wonderful wife and children and where you are, regardless of your status.
You know we all luv ya, man - - can't you feel it oooozzzziiiiingggg???
SEE!!!
There - - that's better. You are getting the idea. Just takes a while to get through all that hair.

I have made up my mind I will travel ten miles behind that crazee Canuck.
ha ha - - we luv yu 2, Scotty - - you big ole lumlox. Here's to ya - - - -
- - - -
OK, off to the attic, if I can make these stupid LEGGS work to climb that ladder. Mama says it is time to quit putting off the decorating stuff - - up there big boy and get the boxes down for me.
Have a gudurn - - won't be long and my new Porsche will be under the tree. YEH.

It was great to meet you when you came through on one of your trips.
The folks at the campground are probably still traumatized by your Painted On Speedo.

I have been doing my annual Gratitude list. DTR and the friends I have here are on that list.
Thanks!
Scotty

I could sure use a vacation right about now.. Come to think of it, the last one was in a cabin in the Smokies.
It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Hey Bob, happy anniversary. Nice to still have you on this side of the grass and harassing some some DTR members. They deserve it. Keep up the good work.
