I discovered something this evening.
I figured out why it takes my wife so dang long to take a shower. she was cleaning the shower when she got done washing herself. she moved everything around, washed the walls, washed the door, washed the shower head.
Turned off the water, dried off, got another towel, dried everything in the shower.
Then she tried to convince me she doesn't have OCCD.

granted there are two flat screen tvs and 4 regular tvs in my house, but I have only bought 3 of them and one is about 20 years old.

Yes they are. I hope when my time comes I just drop dead. I dont think I am tough enough to deal with the effects of stroke. Heck, I have enough problems just getting older.
Mine recently scrubbed out the inside of the dishwasher.
Also at one point it shows the guy smoking. Back when I didnt have much, cigs were the first thing to go. And they were under 20cents a pack on post.

Evenin' all.
At least I think it's evenin'.... Too many time zones and too little sleep.
My father passed away unexpectedly and my brother and I have flown to Texas to settle his affairs and whatnot. Gonna have a memorial then take his ashes to Kansas to be spread with his parents.
Been a long couple days since I got the news. Lots of it spent of it on a plane. My brother and I have a pretty good handle on getting things in order. At least we think we do.....

Wife is gone on her annual shopping trip with her Mother and Sister leaving the place all to me for a few days Only downside is that it is snowing a bit and TOO cold for me to walk around the house in only my glow in the dark smiley face boxers Man a guy waits all year for that kind of freedom and then it has to go and snow on me
Oh well........ I guess I can wear some socks that don't match and play that Grand Funk Railroad Album my wife doesn't like, over and over again I might even leave a dirty dish on the counter instead of putting it in the dishwasher and REALLY live it UP!

On another trip near my Older Twin, my girlfriend and now wife got a room at the Super 8 over in WV...cannot remember the town. I should have known that the 'experience' was going to be a strange one when the guy came out in a pink house coat when I rang the bell to get my room. The guy? was really stoned, could barely speak english and struggled with getting the key programmed. We were so tired, it did not matter...yet.
We get up to our room and I turn on the light. AC is smashed in the wall. Blood and snot all over the room...to me it looked like a fight scene. Nasty.
So we go back down to the front desk to get my money back and leave. Nobody there...nobody answers the bell. Two other people come in and are waiting too. Then this Mercedes pulls up and a guy in a suit goes in a side door and comes to the front desk. He was the owner and when I told him what the room was like and how the guy looked that checked us in...he told us that there was nobody working and that is why he came in. Turns out the guy that checked me in was a street person that 'made them selves comfortable' during the staff absence and took my money. LOL The owner was cool about it and gave me my $ back. We ended up next door at the Days Inn, pool side. I ordered a pizza, waited and waited and waited for it to arrive. Finally I called and the guy said they delivered it. I told him I never got it. I look outside while I am on the phone and heres two guys by the pool eating pizza. The delivery guy asked them if they ordered and they said yes...and bought my pizza. Very strange area.
Dominos sent out a replacement...free.

Morning, still snowing but less eventful today. Operating system was down since before my shift yesterday. Just got all the complaints entered in for yesterday and today. Our post took 65 crash reports since yesterday, not counting help from 3 troopers assisting from another detachment, local dept crashes, or slide-offs. Is it winter yet?
Coffee's ready, no snacks yet, gonna have to plan an early lunch... hopefully I get a lunch todayy, finally. Oh, the guy that stepped in front of the semi yesterday is still breathing, but won't be doing any kicking. Looks like it was intentional, have evidence of mental trouble.

That can be a blessing too. When my dad went, he didn't really have anything, so everything was kept short and sweet with some help from VA and easy access to Ft Custer VA Cemetary (Awesome place!). Mom and step dad have quite a bit of stuff and I'd like to have any of it, but brothers and sister can have any or all of it. I have what I need. Hope Christmas is smooth for you guys with the new change.
