Wow, another week started - - can't believe the last one is over all ready. Oh well.

Another gorgeous day down here - - sure glad I am not in California right about now - - that is a mess. Heading for 77 today, sun, very nice out. Maybe a little rain about Thursday - - we need it.

Ummm... ok.
Why do I get the feeling that "something" may be the product from the South end of a dog walking North?

afternoon fellers. Had a nice 5 days off. Now wishing I didn't take them since the mound of "stuff" to do at work continued to grow while I was gone. Been REAL busy today. (if this weren't a family site, I'd let a few roll right now) Looks like I have been volunteered for some "stuff" while I was NOT here to defend myself. I guess I'll have to delegate this "stuff" over the next couple of days

well, we fished and we fished and we caught no fish. Didn't fall in and break a reel this time. Was trying to teach the boy HOW to do it, not HOW NOT to do it...and still didn't get it right since we caught nothing. I'm gonna have to do better.

catfish are getting big in the tank. looks like I'll have to search for 125 gallon replacement cause 30 ain't cuttin' it.

Back from the horsepistol and a long nap. Everything went well, no complications. Guess the right side of my head is harder than the left. Doc had to shoot me an additional three times to get everything numb. Therefore my head is hurting a bit. Patch comes off in the morning and we shall see how everything looks.
Guess the comm link to Sky Six works good
Y'all take care. Time for another nap.

Head feels like the wifes 12" cast iron skillet has been up against it. Just a wee bit sore. Curious what the bruising will look like tomorrow when the bandages come off. May look a bit like Wishbone the dog. Doc said no beer, no driving, no children, and on decision making for 24 hours. Might as well sleep.
Red, can't shoot for at least TWO months. The recoil could damage the new lens. However, a buddy of mine gave me a 30" .224 barrel blank that I'm going to start fitting on the 03A3 action. It's either a 6" or 7" twist and is supposed to be for some of the new 80 - 100 gr bullets. Might be a dandy shooter chambered in .22-250. Chambered in 5.56mm with a custom M-16, the 100 gr were tearing them up at 1000 yds. LOTS of potential. Got enough magazine length with the 03 so I won't have to single feed.
I plan on starting back on the competitive side in July. Gonna get back into the service rifle. Gotta M-14, brand new national match, less than 50 rounds, sitting at the shop. Firing out of a machine rest, it was grouping less than 3/4" in our 200 yd tunnel.

Hope to find the problem & remedy this evening.

Gotta go to the dentist today, broke a big tooth yesterday. Why could not this happen during a work week and not while I'm on vacation. Just my really good luck I guess.

Mornin' all. I won't tell you what it's like here - - no more ice scuds - - tired of ducking. Just say I am sitting in the patio in shorts drinking coffee and listening to the birds sing.

Hauling the fiver to Tampa tomorrow to get each wheel weighed to try and solve a suspension problem. Amazing, no one down this way has a scale that weighs each individual wheel. Oh well, main thing is to get it done and fixed.

Have a good one and stay warm and dry.
