Good Morning DTR'rs........

Might as well get the day started, it might get over with quicker that way.

Flash, Congrats on the future Daughter-in-law.....hope ya get to feeling better ...was kinda wondering were ya been hiding...

Coffee is done, good, strong and hot..... doughnuts should be here any minute, but since it sounds like a lot of you are trying to loose weight, I'll take care of those.............

I have decided not to ever use the little coffee drinkin smilies again... those little guys were weirding me out. all drinkin and smiling in harmony as it were...seems a little suspicious to me...smurfs on LSD or aliens or something......maybe even Canadians........

Well day shift is drifting in , time to act busy............

Flash,
Got to meet your future daughter in law last month. Real sweet girl. She will make you proud. Travis picked a good one and she worships the ground he walks on.
Pistol, they were already hooked up before I got there so don't even start blaming me for match making. As to Hotel Street, ain't much there now. The place is really cleaned up. 95% of the mahoos have gone elsewhere.

Trav said you were going to rub it in that you met Kristi before I did. Yes she is sweet and a little doll in the looks dept. I talk to her on the phone all the time and Trav sends pictures. I can't wait to meet her and give her a big hug. Trav is sure crazy about her. I think he worships the ground she walks on too.

Trav said he was glad he had the opportunity to meet you. He went on and on about what a nice guy you were.

No Pistol they didn't go to Hotel Street. However Trav knew what it was and said there wasn't much going on there anymore. I didn't ask how he knew that, didn't want to know.

Scotty and Bob,

Thanks for holding off on the bombardment until we get those kids hitched. Don’t want to freak out the new in-laws with Pink Speedos showing up at the wedding. They will find out soon enough what a nutty bunch their daughter has hooked up with.

Good Morning all...

Boy the Idaho weather is really screwed up. I'm back to riding around on my Goldwing for short trips. Daytime highs have gotten up as high as 50*F. Not bad for the day. Morning starts out abouty 32-35*F. Hmmm...

Hey Mexstan quit blowing so hard... Too much hot air!

Well it's a good day to wash my truck. It's coated in a nice thick brown layer of road grime. It seems to be getting inside too...

Then after all this I might even split some more firewood today... Nice day to be outside.

Catch ya all l8r on...
Michael

Flash,
Where's the wedding going to be?
If it's close, I might be able to show up in my dress blues and tennis shoes

The wedding is in Florida. I'm impressed I didn't think Arkies wore shoes.

I've been wearing shoes most of my life. After enlisting in the Navy, I've become one of the more educated ones here. I actually have 25 buttons to make sure are buttoned and 48 eyelets on my boots to make sure the laces are in the right place and crossed properly. And that's every work day. Off work, a pair of overalls is as complicated as I get. Sometimes you have to revert to your old self.

I was kidding! Trav was born in Arkansas and some of the kids at boot camp asked him if he had ever worn shoes before he enlisted.
He gets a lot of ribbing about being from Arkansas. He used to wear overalls with what he calls his wife beater shirt.

Flash, It sounds like your son got himself a keeper .... good for him. Takes a special lady to marry a military man. Please pass on my congrats.

Sure was a long drawn out ride home this evening ... fighting the mass exodus out of the city for the weekend I guess.

Hope everyone has a great weekend filled with lots of bombing projects !!

Might have something to do with her being a military woman. She is an AG also. Makes me double proud!
