I hope our terrific weather holds for one more day so I can spend tomorrow on the Chesapeake Bay.

Hey SR, sounds like you need some R&R. I'll have few cold ones here for you......

G'Morning DTR.
Traffic was a mess this morning... got in late and missed the fresh coffee.

I heard on the radio it was all because of a pink Yugo with Canadian plates!

Hope everyone has a good and safe day and take a little time out today to remember this day two years ago and all the Service Men/Women out there.

Rich

Re:Water Cooler..... 7-13 Sep 03

I'm here, snot nosed cold and all. Not only did they steal stuff from my truck while I was in Charlotte, I picked up a cold down there also. What a deal eh?

Going over to RETIRED1's place this weekend to see if him and I can figure out how to use this Cummins Quick Check. Cummins won't tell me where to hook it up to the engine and neither do the instructions, they say you gotta go to the dealer and have them show you. I replied to them that the reason I spent $300 and change was to stay away from the dealer. My advice to you is not to buy the thing unless you have a good source of info at a dealer that will work with you.
Like the dealer is going to show me where to hook it up and take money out of his pocket. : :

It's been a slow week in here.
Since it's raining outside and I can't do much, I'll just stay in this thread and recite some poetry.
I really hate to be off work and you guys have to slave all day. Maybe a bit of poetry to make your day go better.

Hey Huey, havn't you figured out by now that once a woman, specially a wife, wants something, that logic has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with it. By the way, that only works in one direction, so don't try the same tactic on her with bombing or something you may want but not need.

Morning all.... coffee's good and goin down quick. Been pretty quiet last couple of mornings, traffic wise. I think people finally got it figured out just in time for winter to hit and change everything. Hey... I've been researching some old local railroads for some model displays I want to make for the cabin. Any old timers in the midwest remember seeing passenger cars from the Pere Marquette Rail Road, Ann Arbor RailRoad, or Grand Trunk RailRoad? I want to find out what colors they used. All the photos are black and white. I'll check some train web sights too, but just wondering if anybody remembers these.

Mornin DTR land.
It rained hard for most of the night and is still sprinkling- Thank God!
The air quality is up and you can actually see farther than 3 miles. It's been horrible around here all summer, the smoke has been unreal. We've had day's where visibility has been under 3 miles, it actually burns your eyes to even be outside. I'm hoping it rains all weekend- we gotta get these fires out.

Re:Water Cooler..... 7-13 Sep 03

The wine is tasting just wonderful.
The color is a beautiful blush.
The wife is tolerating me greatly.
She hadn't even started to cuss.

Got bratwurst and cabbage a cooking.
For supper it should be just swell.
Tomorrow might be another story.
If she don't like it, oh well.

The raindrops they just keep a falling.
Two inches we've gotten so far.
The ground has really needed it.
The wine level keeps dropping in my jar.

Soon I'll be heading for the east coast.
To see if y'all are as sorry as I hear.
Don't worry you wives and girlfriends.
'Cause escorting me will be "wifey dear".

When Shortround wakes this morning
His face wil be real flush
That wine hit without warning
and his head feels just like mush

His stomach will be churning
He clenches the toilet seat
Hiney and nose are burning
The cabbage has produced a treat
