UP AND AT EM,,,,,,,, Boys and Girls!
All you folks with normal jobs can find comfort in knowing that it's FRIDAY and you can start whoopin it up,,,,, talking about all the cool stuff your're gonna do this weekend.
Some of us still have another 16 hours to go after we go home this morning.
Thank your lucky stars you are who you are and you're sitting here looking at a puter screen means you're better off than some. Enjoy the day and say a "YEE-HAW" for those of us who still have work days left over at the end of the work week,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I'm here,....finally.
'Bout a 4 mile back up on the highway to work this morning.
Ended up being caused by two local police with a car pulled onto the shoulder of the road.
ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD!
"Rubber-Neckers" are the pits.

That's more better.
Y'all B safe,
Ed

Mornin' fellas. PDC here this morning @ 25.
Dennis - I know what you mean. Looks as if my coasting on 5 days will come to an end tomorrow. Looks like 6 or 7 from here on....we'll see if I can do something about that. I have enjoyed these last 3 "normal" work weeks.
Ed - thanks for the coffee...

Mornin' all.
TGIF!! Got some fresh java here this morning and some sugar coated energy pills, also picked up some Mt. Dew
for those so inclined. It's in the fridge next to JKE's latest catch of the day.

I don't think that's my catch. Could be Redleg's. He's put more fish on the bank in the last 2 months than I have in 12.
What say ye Redleg?
If it ain't his, then I don't know what the heck it is
. We'll dispose of it in a day or two if it starts to stink....or we could send it air mail to FiverBob.

Back at the grind.... just won $5 on our "new rule of the week" game. Seems at least once a week, the new boss puts out a new rule to curb a whiner. Then half get flip- flopped or retracted again later.
Shortround, where's that gun powder. Need an extra dose in the coffee today. Heather's partying kept me up all night. Actually, went down to the watering hole to eyeball some toothless wonders last night. Got into a (letter between O and Q)ing match with some oldtime cowboy from Montana. Nice old guy, but for a little guy, that voice'll drown out a sceared schoolgirl. Even if his tangent WAS way off topic, your gonna come out knowing way more about nothing than you ever hoped.
JKE, aughta see this flyrod I started wrapping. Bought a Sage 586xp blank about 5 yrs ago. Now that Karen's out of the picture, I can finally get to working on it. (And I only had time for myself
). AFter applying the color preserver, I see a wrap I have to re-do, but I put on some feather inlays for the first time. Jungle **** and a few others. It turned out sweeeeet. Can't wait to take it to the river this summer.

I did that to a friend of mine in Alaska (I was in Florida). Mailed him a redfish, regular mail all sealed in plastic and boxed. His father could not understand what kind of person would do that. A very nice friend, thank you. I can only imagine what that must have been like.
Clear and quite cool down here today - high of 62. 30's tonight again. No shorts today - - no siree, thank you. I might have to get Red to teach me icefishing if this keeps up.
Have a gud urn.

Always did think you were one of the good'ens, now I know for sure. Only a great man would give up a redfish.

Bob, how thick is your ice down there. Thinking of taking the shanty your way. This nice warm weather your giving us is making the ice a little tricky for my taste.
I wouldn't recomend messing with that fish in the fridge. That's Top's buddy, Marvin. That other little pckage is the finger of the last guy that messed with Marvin.

I am too old and lazy to like the ones that make you work at it anymore.....
The owners are coming over tomorrow and have 5 more horses they want either ground trainied or started if they like the job I do with this one. Looks like its going to be a good spring!
Warm today, into the 50's, melting all the snow and making it a muddy mess.
Heather, wanna clean some stalls for me?
On my second pot of coffee, finishing off the left over doughnuts and relaxing a bit before the day job.
