Hey there,

Kinda liking this 12 hour schedule. Here today and tomorrow, then off again. Did some plugging away on my little cabin addition with the nice weather we've had (keep sending it this way Bob). Hit Tippy Dam on the Manistee River yesterday. Fish had lock-jaw. Talked to a few guys last night that fished the Pere Marquette with a little success, but nothing spectacular. Might try that later in the week. Coffee's good, whoever made it today....

Howdy All..... Georgeus(sp?) weather the last two days and today non-stop rain.....
Wife and kiddies are gone for the day, got all the chores done, and just kicking back till kick-off....
Got my taxes finished and filed
I made it half way through day three( Friday), before I broke down and smoked a cigarrette....Guess I'll drop back and punt, try again.
least I am now smoking about half of what I had been....
Well gonna browse the forums and see what words of wisdom are dispersed among them....
Ride tall, but below the ridegline....Chris

I slept till noon. Got coffee and thinking of going for a paper but not to hard though. It's raining since midnight and the ground is saturated. It's warm enough though so no ice. Haven't really had winter this year.

Hang in there. You're not beat until you quit trying. I haven't been there myself but I hear that it's a one-day-at-a-time battle and you have a bunch of us out here pullin' for you.

Morning everyone.

Ed - did you wash the wifes truck? Maybe that's why there is no food.

Moved the gun safe yesterday ... it was better than I expected it to be...only 600lbs. 20 gun deal. However, I now see why they charge so much to move one.
got the old Husky out and stared at it for awhile.

Don - at least you had the chance to go. I'll bet it was nice out there.

Ya'll have goodun - JKE

Howdy all,
Rained here all yesterday and last night, figures, I had the truck lookin' real purty too on Friday
Folks made it in from PA on Saturday without a hitch, good roads and weather, thank God. Mom retired last Monday and still can't get over that she's not just on vacation and that she never has to go back . I figure I can stand 'em for about 2 weeks before I kick 'em out. Just kiddin', they are going to South Padre Island in 2 weeks for a while to check out the area. The old man is upset that they will just miss spring break and all the "scenery".
Had a weird talk with them yesterday. They told me and my wife they "made plans". I figured they sold the house or something. No, it was "forever" plans. Made a new living will, got their affairs in order and signed papers to be cremated and picked out their "spot on the wall" at the cemetary. I felt akward at first, but as I thought about it, all I could say was "THANK YOU". I am really glad they made their final arangements themselves. Will take a lot of the stress out of the situation when the time comes, knowing they are going out just as they wanted, without my sister and I making choices for them. I think more people should do that.

Now you need the Letter Man to come to your house and make that sentence say:
"got the old Husky out and starTed it for a while"
Then you'll just have to keep up with the young 'un. At least you can adjust his throttle on the JR-50 to slow him down if he is showin' ya up

right on! The wife and I washed our vehicles this weekend also. REAL nice weather we're having. I gotta go find some more

Oh yeah, what are you men paying for Remington Core-lok SP or Winchester ammo in 270 or 308? (your local stores...not internet)
I cannot find any for less than $15 - 16 a box...and I think The Gun Shop is 17 - 18....

TIA - JKE

that old husky would hurt me! wheelie over backwards and swatted like a fly in .02 micro seconds.... I couldn't bring myself to kick it. A buddy of mine was over and said "You KNOW you want fire it up and ride a wheelie down the street..." I just smiled and wipped some dust off of the seat.

I would need something a little more "forgiving". - JKE
