Water Cooler.......30 May - 5 June 2004

Get up you lazy suckers
This blasted laptop has all the keys in the wrong place.
The truck sure looks rough. Don't thinks the damage is more than sheet metal. Bed, bumpers, front fenders, grill, the misc hardware that goes with it, and a couple buckets of red paint.
Told the insurance company that there will be no repairs. If it's bent, then it gets replaced. No problem there. Taking it to the dealer where I bought it. The body shop is great and very oriented to what the customer wants.
For you occasional trailer pullers, watch out for surge brakes on trailers. I will detail my experience in a later post.
Gotta git. All that cabbage from yesterday is working on me.
OBTW JKE, crook neck squash is ready to pick. Looking like a couple truck loads, if I had a truck to put them in.

Where is everyone, oh yeah long weekend. Well as a youngin' to this site this is the highest I've posted to the water-cooler. Sorry to hear about the truck S.R.

We have got just about all items moved into the new "castle" Wife is as happy as I've seen her in quite some time. Sure is a nice neighbor hood, in fact I'm already catchin crap about my CTD. Seems some people just don't enjoy the swwweeeeeettttt smell of #02 fumes as much as I do. Can anyone here help me understand their frustration

Hope every one has an enjoyable Memorial Day.

THANK YOU TO AND GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, PAST AND PRESENT.

Back from "Rolling Thunder".
Worked 14 hours yesterday at H-D dealer Open House/Veteran's Reunion.
Got home at 1000hrs was asleep by 1015hrs.
This morning started at 0300 with Dogs barking.
Couldn't get back to sleep.
Drank mass quantities of hot caffeinated beverages.
Got to Dealer at 0600.
Got 9,000 plus Vets, Bikers, and Motorcycle Enthusiasts lined up, and gone to meet the 300,000 plus riders at the Pentagon parking lot.
Got every thing torn down & put away for next year.

WHEEEEEEW!!!!!

Heckuva way to spend Memorial Day Weekend.
Wouldn't want it any other way.
Been doing this since '92

My way of "Giving something back" to those who serve(d) to keep us free.

Thank a Veteran.

Now,........time for a nap.

Wow, 185 tornadoes in and around Indiana in two days. Holy smoke - - I will quit complaining about a little hurricane - - - at least I know that sucker is coming for days in advance. That is horrible.

Great morning in the sunshine state. Summer is right around the corner. You do your outside work early in the morning, then head inside for the AC or the pool. Have a good one.

I never served in the military but I want to thank everyone that did serve and is serving - without them I would not have the freedom I enjoy today.

My wife and I are about to leave for South Texas to find me a place to park the travel trailer for my next work project. This will be about a 1200 mile round trip so I will get to let the new truck stretch it legs some.

THANK YOU

It is a beautiful morning here in southern Utah, the sun is shining and it is 65*.
I would also like to thank all of you that have/are serving in our armed forces, making this country the greatest country in the world. I have a sister who is serving in Iraq right now and I know that she is homesick, but she is working to free the people of Iraq. Well, I need to go do some yard work and wash my truck. Happy Memorial Day and THANKS AGAIN TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE AND ARE FIGHTING FOR THE FREEDOM OF OUR GREAT COUNTRY.

Morning folks,
Only 11 Mondays this week. Will start working with the insurance company today. Not sure what kind of hassle I'm gonna have. I think I got the point across to my agent on Friday when I told him I wanted it to look like it came off the showroom floor. No after market stuff, no straightening, if it's bent then replace it. I haven't been able to really jack someone up in a while, so I'm getting ready. I may just fire everyone today.
I want my truck back. I'm too low to the ground. Gas is expensive. Engine don't sound right. No nice sounding exhaust. Can't see out of the cab. Whine, cry, p and moan.
Gotta get ready for the Monday morning meeting.

Today's definititely a Monday. Whooperwils were creating havoc again, I just about have Karen convinced that the shotgun is the only remedy. Happened to be awake at 04:50 when the power went out. Guess what, no rain, no wind, .....hmmmmm. Only an hour or so for the alarm which won't work, so I packed up and came into the post to get cleaned up. This day is dragging. Anyway should have some spaghetti waiting for dinner, couple quick honey-do's then night- night. Alright...... who took the last cup?
