Arright, better late than never. Finally found my way back to the water cooler, moved my field office and finally got a decent connection. Projects are rained out today so I have some time to waste.

Sunny So Cal has seen 4 days of rain now, and folks here abouts just don't know how to act. I'm not sure I like it, my paddock and pens are a mess. Guess I should have mucked all that out before the rains came. At least the rain forced me into being productive inside the house. Got the bathroom walls insulated, vapor barrier up, and new jacuzzi tub installed. Enjoyed the hell out of that last night. Amazing I got anything done with a 3 year old trying to "help".

Cold weather is back, and rain in the forecast.
Oh well, we DID make it for two WHOLE weeks without measurable precip.
Weather "guessers" said last time we did that was in 2002.

As long as I'm working the grave-yard shift and sleeping during the day,,,,,,,, it might as well be raining. Ever notice how much better you can sleep when it's cold and drizzling rain outside?
The bummer is,,,, my truck was clean for almost a week and now it goes back to being yucky looking again.

good morning everybody. well its 350 am here dry and windy time to got to work. i should have a light day . need some breakfast now .hope you all have good one .

 

Keep the racket down to the level of an uncorked detroit V-16 running up against the stops.
Those of us with more time and experiences on this earth need a bit more rest that you young whipper snappers. Expecially so when you have been shuffling 75 lb., 4x8 wire cage security panels and 1100 lb weapons safes for the last few days.
I need to recruit about a half dozen strong backed, weak mind individuals that are at least 5'18" tall. Work will not be hard at all. Just stand in place and keep the overhead panels from falling on those of us that are disassembling them.
Beer and Morks will be furnished.
Time to get after it. Coffee is waiting along with an ibuprofen donut.

OBTW, wonder if you northern types could redirect the wind to some other direction than south? It's kinda hard to standing up outside.

Happy Humpday !!! Started raining cats and dogs about 2 hrs ago and I now have a huge swimming hole in my back yard. Flash the Basset Hound won't even go outside to pee ... just stands at the sliding glass door with his knobby knees crossed .
