Who took my Sudafed? (lookin for a sneezy smilie)

Finally started putting the 89 gasser back together last night. Had a real good backfire due to bad distributor pickup and broke 6 manifold bolts. Every one of them were below the surface of the heads. Had lots of fun drilling them out without tearing the motor down. Prolly finish the exhaust tonight, if'n I can find all the dang bolts.

zzzzzzzz I'm awake. Got things tadu taday. Prep for paint the inside of the house. Gud day tado it. Cool, windy and rainey. Will have to push wife out the door to go to work.

Quieten down out there. Some of us need our beauty sleep.
Can't believe I slept in till 0700. Must be getting old.
Easy day today. Pick up another couple hundred soldiers tomorrow. Got about 2000 on the ground right now and processing up to 250 a day. Depending on the plane schedule, we should get the last ones home the first week of April.
Beautiful day, headed out and gonna enjoy the weather.
OBTW, There is a Pumpkin Corner, OK. Found it yesterday.

Sunny beautiful day up here. I just got done workin all night and am havin a few barley pops, and will get up when the wife gets home from church and play with the kids. Need to put a different back tire on my dirt bike, and a new seat cover. Other than that, pretty light day. May pick up some of the stray sticks in the yard if I feel like it.

Coffee is in cup (3rd one), Wife is still in bed, trip wiped her out.
Glad to be back at home and in my bed last night. Rolled in from Maryland at 10:30pm. Long trip there and back in a little over 3 days. Now I have a car on my trailer that I need to figure out where I am going unload, play with Grandkids, etc. Those are my tasks for today, rest of the day is veg' time.

Gorgeous day here again - - but more raining heading in. The ground is still saturated from last weeks rains - - hey, we need them. Just makes the dang plants grow too fast. They never even slowed down this winter. Crazee.

The sun was out 1/2 hour ago.
Just had to run outside and put the Beast in the carport 'cuz it HAILING.
There's enough pea sized hail to cover the deck.

If ya don't like the Washington DC weather,....wait 15 minutes, it'll change.

 

Well, back at it today. Got back home from Al. Friday. Good training, still recovering a bit from the socialization side of the course. Pretty good training, met a bunch of good guys from around the country and they took good care of us. Did file a complaint about greeting us with tornado sirens Sunday night though.

Lazy day today..... stayed inside with teh BOSS and chilled in front of the tv....

Met another plane tonight. Had troops from PA., CT, and Guam. Wouldn't it have been closer to fly the other direction to get to Guam?
Long days, but we're managing to run 200 to 250 thru a day. I'll finish up my end of it the 28th.
Speaking of long days, I've got one tomorrow so I'm gonna crash.

Howdy all,
Typical Monday mornin' goat rope. No coffee in the mess, gotta wait till the admins come in with the keys and unlock some more (wonder if the admins know they have the power to shut this place down by not unlocking the coffee?)
Excellent weekend, tried to be outside as much as possible. Rode our bikes at a state park by a lake yesterday (Ed, I've got some Sudafed I'll trade ya for some muscle relaxer/pain reliever). Every time I go to the lake, I get an urge to buy a boat. Should I fight it or give in?
