A little warmer today,,,,, 10* warmer. Took wifey to the doc and she does have a torn rotor-cuff. :( Suppose to take her in this evening for a MRI to see how bad. I guess I'll be washing dishes, clothes and other duties till she recovers. We are hoping it won't be bad enough to require surgery, but I have my doubts.
Y'all have a good one and I'll check in when I'm not doing housework. [laugh]

You’re a good man Rattlin! Mr. Flashdancr had to do the chores when I had my shoulder done. Hope everything turns out well for your wife. Shoulder surgery is tough! Got to work on getting it moving as soon as the Dr. says it’s okay. Very painful but got to get past that and move it anyway. I know a guy who couldn’t hack the pain, babied it and didn’t get full movement back in it. So, encourage her to be tough.

Rattlin,
Hope Mrs. Rattlin comes through everything alright. Keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't require surgery. You might not want to do the chores "too good" if ya know what I mean. Once you set a precedent, its hard to break it.

Hot dog - - I mean hot weather today - - 78 for our high before all that nasty stuff that Scotty keeps pushing down reaches us. Then we dive to the 60's. BBRRRR

Loading up the fiver and heading out for Christmas - - see ya in the New Year - - stay safe and behave.

Thanks Robbie,
I'm hoping that surgery won't be necessary,,,,, she has been keeping it in a sling and it hasn't been as painful. The dumb insurance company wants her to see an orthopedic specialist before they do an MRI,,,, ,,, (read as "jump through hoops before they have to pay for anything!")

Thanks Rob,
I think I already screwed up when she saw how good I could peel potatoes,,,,,,, I'm thinking I should wash my jeans and black t-shirts with her white unmentionables just as a counter-measure. :o [laugh]

Y'all have a good one,,,,,,,,,

I hope surgery won’t be necessary also but, an orthopedic specialist is not a bad idea. I know it’s big bucks but it’s worth it to have someone who really knows what’s going on in there. I had mine done by an orthopedic specialist and I’m glad I did. I had gone to a GP and they said I had pulled it. I let mine go until I couldn’t move it at all (stubborn = stupid) and did a lot more damage.
If she is keeping it still it won’t be as painful. If she has extreme pain and loss of strength when she tries to lift her arm straight out to the side of her body that’s not good.
Our prayers are with ya’ll. Let us know how everything goes.

I agree with seeing an orthopedic specialist and that is what the wife's GP wanted too, but her GP just wanted to get her in for the MRI as soon as possible so that the ortho doc could have the pics to view. Her GP doctor told her that the insurance company would probably deny the MRI until she went through the referral process,,,, but tried anyway to help speed up the process. The wife's GP is female and has been an excellent doctor in our opinion and that's hard to find sometimes. The GP I have is so-so and his office staff is straight out of Ringling Brothers,, [eyecrazy] [laugh]
It just kind of ticks ya off when some "number-crunching-desk-jockey" at these insurance companies can over-ride a doctor's recommendations. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, [rant] ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, OK... I feel better now. :D

A great big good morning to all ya'll from down in "wet" Florida land. You guys just HAD to send that stuff down didn't you. Well, it will make the flowers grow better. Temps still very comfortable, but sure gray and dreary out - - reminds me of Seattle - - and raining like Seattle, just a little drizzle.

Off to be Santa at the sons in Jacksonville - - packing up fiver to head out. Ya'll be good 'til I get back. Well, all but Hoss - - that is impossible for him. ;) [laugh]

Robbie,
Mrs. RATTLIN is feeling fairly good as long as she keeps her arm in the sling. I gotta keep after her to go sit down and stop trying to "Supervise" me while doing the chores,,,,, ,,,,,, (I didn't know there were so many rules for "how to put clean sheets on the bed"!) and my hands have never been so clean! [eyecrazy] [laugh]

Uhmm,,,,, Ed,,,,,
Ain't ya suppose to be filling that paperwork out, faxing a copy to the main office and filing the originals? ,,,,,,,,,, Yeah,,,,,,,, I think you have the right idea. [laugh]

Bob,
Be careful out there on the roads. :)
