"Water Cooler" 19 Dec - 25 Dec
Mornin Folks,
12* according to the thermo-meter,,, Micro-Mutts went haulin out the back door this mornin,,,,,,, hit the deck wide open headed for the steps to the yard and Roo was the only one to make it. Cockroach spun out trying to do a U-Do-It before he got to the steps and the DustMop took a nose dive down the steps when she found out the brakes didn't work!
It didn't take em long to do what they had to do and start bouncing at the door to get back in!
I've got to take the wife to the doc this morning because she can't use her arm. She went to put her purse behind the seat of her car while sitting in the front yesterday and now she can't raise it at all. It kept her up all night and I finally convinced her to go have it checked. Hope it doesn't have anything to do with the rotor cuff and all she did was pull a muscle,,,,,,,, but she sure is in a lot of pain for a pulled muscle.
Y'all have a safe day.

Hey Scotty, you big old ox - - keep that cold stuff up there with you.
It is cold down here. A high of 53 today. Froze my poor pinky trying to hookup the fiver this morning.
Been in Orlando for a week - - Disney was gorgeous with all their lights and Christmas parades. And, Epcot had the most marvelous concert with 400 singers, fantastic orchestra and Steven Curtis Chapman narrating and reading the Bibilical account, both Old and New Testament of the birth of Jesus. It had my goose bumps having babies. Very moving. I could not help watching some turbin wrapped people (not from the cold) to see their response. It was probably the first time they had ever heard the story of Jesus. They sat part way thru the Hallelujah chorus until someone behind them poked them. There was a group of about 10 that did not know to stand, or would not. Everyone else had stood except them. They relunctantly stood after looking back at this guy about 6'4" and 300 pounds motioning for them to get up. It was funny, but sad.
OK Scotty, enough all ready. Going down to 33 tonight - - might have to cover some flowers.

Warmer temps today (20*) without yesterday's high winds.
hot, dounts reduced to crumbs.
Still too much stuff to be acomplished at work before holiday "Cruise Mode" can kick in.
Spy shot of Santa's 'Sled' in for a few last minute adjustments before loading up for the looooong Friday night cruise.

Mornin' all.
Nice day here so far. Due to change tomorrow. Supposed to be a front moving in from Canada (Hmm, who do we know up there that could be responsible for that?). Chance of snow tonight into tomorrow
. Tomorrow is last day of work for me until Jan. 4th. So many people are gone already its like a ghost town. Makes the days seem much longer.
Hey, I wonder if Santa needs someone to ride shotgun in his sled?
Have a good one,

A little warmer today,,,,, 10* warmer.
Took wifey to the doc and she does have a torn rotor-cuff.
Suppose to take her in this evening for a MRI to see how bad. I guess I'll be washing dishes, clothes and other duties till she recovers. We are hoping it won't be bad enough to require surgery, but I have my doubts.
Y'all have a good one and I'll check in when I'm not doing housework.

FiverBob - It's on the way. May take them a little while to get things shuffled. They have plenty of room now with all of the land they bought.
Did they go public with that purchase? Initially, it was hush hush....
Good things coming - JKE

JKE,
I have not followed up on what has gone on over there since moving away from Orlando. I had connections with a realtor when living there when suddenly a "bunch of land" had been purchased hush hush. Five of us jumped onto adjoining property real quick - - turned out nice - - just should have gone in hock to my eyeballs for more of it. Once it came out who bought it, the land skyrocketed. Oh well, quit crying and enjoy what did happen. Amazing the growth in that whole area around there.
Oh, by the way - - 75 degrees for tomorrow - - hey hey, boogie bear. Might have to hit the pool by late afternoon (after turning on the heater for a while
)

Mornin' campers.
My first whole day off since 05 Dec.
Typing very quietly 'cuz Wifey is still asleep after coming in at 0130 this morning following a 12 hour shift at the Post Office.
I have a whole new appreciation of the USPS after working there for a week.
Might try to finally do a little shopping today.
I Hate Malls.
Whenever Wifey wakes up, we're gonna hit the local All-U-Can-Eat breakfast buffet.
MMmmmm, sausage gravy & biscuts.
SR, I thought I was the only one that still listened to Boston.
Found my long lost (for the last 6 months) Styx & Bon Jovi CDs in the daughter's CD player last night.
Y'all B safe

Morning.
At work at 0600 this morning.
News reporting I-395 shut down in both directions due to a tanker fire.
(I-395 is a MAJOR 8 lane highway Commuter route in & out of DC).
Figured I'd rather get out early & sip coffee in the office rather than sit in a bunch o traffic.
Still too much stuff on the Gotta-Do list at work.
One of the pleasures? of being a One-Man-Deep shop.

(news just reported that the North-bound lanes of I-395 just reopened)
