They called me into jury duty once.... right after I had been laid off for 3 months and had just gotten back to work 2 days before. I needed to work because I was close to not making rent and they wouldn't let me go for financial hardship. So I said ok fine I don't care if the guy stole a candy bar I want the death penalty! Oddly enough they released me after that.

Here late but not here late.
Had to start early as another individual 'forgot' to complete his assigned task last evening necessitating someone else having to roll out early to pick up the slack.

JOB SECURITY

Howdy all,
Cold here this am, had to scrape the windows
Back from jury duty. Got selected as one of 25 potential jurors (for a 7 person jury) for a DUI case. Listened to the judge for a while, then both sides' lawyers spoke and asked the potential jurors questions. We were led out, and came back a few minutes later and the "winners" were seated in the jury box and the rest of us were told to we could leave and we had fulfilled our duty and would not be required to come back for at least 36 months.
Was a very interesting process and didn't mind it a bit.

Gotta get caught up here at work now,
~Rob

'mornin' yall

Happy St Patrick's day. Don't dring too much green beer or stuff yourselves with corned beef and cabbage.

It will be in the 50's today, might get a few rain drops, keep the dust down on the hwy.

Rob, jury duty if you get on a case can be an intresting experence. If you want to be forman, sit at the end of the table, not the side and run the election for the position. Even more fun. Job jar is overflowing for around the house.

Yeh, Happy St. Pat's Day. And a nice rainy one it is - - wow, it is, and has been, coming down. That should bring the fire alert down - - we needed the rain. Tax day today - - gotta get it done and turned in. Mercy, hate that day. Oh well, do it and forget it. Sure glad the CFO is so good at that stuff - - she is great.

Have a good one and wear some green.

Good morning DTR onians! Happy St Pat's day

I would have been here earlier, but every time I reached for a donut, somebody zapped me with a Tazer Getting up off the floor was kinda painful but that evil laughter that kept ringing in my ears was most disturbing I swear that voice sounded like Huey's

You all stay safe on this holiday, if you go out drinking green beer, be sure you have a designated driver

I'm really miffed. I want a St. Joels day to celebrate. Ride around in the truck, drink beer, and shoot road signs. OH WAIT, I already do that. My bad.
