Our local radio station is offering up a $25,000 gas card. Throughout the day, they will ask for a certain number caller, and then they will open an envelope and read out 4 numbers, if they match the last 4 of your cell phone in order, you win. Match the first 3 and get $1,000.

I was sitting in Dairy Queen today, and hear it on the radio, so I call... "We already have a contestant" - same response I was getting for the past 2 weeks.

Oh well - I go back to eating my hotdog.

DJ calls out the last 4 digits of my cellphone in order and I nearly choked to death.

That could have been me.

I would have done a lot of good with that card.

 

shoot, I would buy all that gas right now, in six months, maybe less, it could be worth 50 grand...........

 

Bummer, It is hard to get in to them radio station as the# x caller. Better luck next time. Keep trying.

 

They saw your # on caller ID, NO WAY were they giving you all that money

Surely they have to be using the caller ID. Write down 4 numbers on a card and go up to someone on the street and ask them their last 4 digits. See how many you can get to match the first two. It would take a while to find a match for three I'm pretty sure. I'm sure that there is someone here who could post the probabilities. They just did that to tick you off.
