Check what is up for auction.

I know it is not a diesel, but it is a Dodge.
Poor ole Bo sure didn't age well.

Cool.

I'm kind of surprised that it will be worth around 3 million though?

Believe it or not

One of the guys here at work has a son that belongs to a Charger club here in Hampton Roads and he has one of the original Chargers used on one of the sets from the original series. They worked with WB quite a few years ago and managed to get their hands on a few of them. They hired a car hauler to go and get them for the club. The one he has had a 383 in it and still had the mud and stuff from the last set it was used on. They rebuilt the engine since it was knocking (can't imagine why) and left everything else as found dirt, scratches, dents, and all. He said they had whole fields of them krinkled, some bent almost in half, and various other damages as one might imagine. It is pretty neat.
Now as far as the price for this one on ebay, can't quite see it. I probably got enough pocket change laying around for that price but, just can see it.

I like the advertisement for low monthly payments under the price.

Man I would love to add that car to my collection! I LOVE THAT CAR! 3 million is a little steep though.

When I was heading to Nebraska this past February, me and my brother saw a General Lee on a Semi heading towards Colorado......I wanted to turn around and go steal it!!!

Apparently, upwards of 300 Dodge Chargers were used as General Lees in the production of Dukes of Hazzard.

Most of them were destroyed in stunts somwhere along the way. Warner Brothers had a shop that did nothing but repair General Lee cars after they were damaged on the set, but eventually a lot of them were damaged beyond repair.

There are supposedly about 20 some of the original General Lee cars still out there so this car on Ebay is not 100% unique and cannot be claimed to be "The" General Lee since were several hundred of them.

Or you could just buy John Schneider's Rolls Royce for a paltry 48K... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rolls...mZ250111227086

Well I don't think he's claiming it to be the "only" General Lee, but I think just the fact that it's owned by Bo Duke himself is what makes it unique. Some people that are big time car collectors might see that as making the car worth more money........more than if some regular Joe owned it. I know it'd mean more to me!!
