Venus and Saturn

They were both bright as ever this AM. Just looking through a pair of Swarovski binos we could see them both very clearly.

I love astro stuff.

Hey, not super familiar with any of the stars or planets, however my wife and myself went to a viewing on Patoka Lake this year and have become an avid watcher of the stars!!! The planets and stars in our solar system are absolutly beatiful!!! I often said in my younger days that that is for "weirdo's" but, now I am (as well as she) hooked on the stars! I'm in Ky and havent heard anything of any local viewings but as soon as I do we will be out there with ya.

I swear you can just about make out Venus' crescent with the naked eye! Very fun stuff. Uranus is also very bright right now, almost a naked eye object. Easy target for binoculars or telescopes.
