V6 3.9 Petrol.....Non Start

Hi...Was wondering if any of you guys could help me with a problem I got with my van.......Or point me in right direction....

Switch on ignition, cranks over fine......won't start.....can smell petrol so I guess pump is working ok.........Leave ignition on for a minute or two..I can hear a clicking sorta sound from the engine bay...( like a relay)......Clicking stops.van starts...ok for a while...( dosn't cut out).....Leave it for an hour or so...same problem.......

Have opened hood and listened when clicking starts...of course....by the time it happens and I feel about...it stops.........

As I'm in the UK...I can't really get to dealership....even the local accessory parts shop looks at me in a strange way when i ask for parts.....

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks...... Chris.....

Sounds like an intermittent fuel pump problem. Have you replaced the fuel filter?
