Good one CH. Mine goes back several years ago when I first got into downloading mp3 music from newsgroups. I now have several thousand pieces of music, but at the time I was totally clueless on how to retrieve chunks of a file and combine them into a finished file....I felt...comatose. ;D

When I was racing jeeps for my uncle's shop/dealership in the Southwest fifteen years ago or so, I did my best work on a blown four-cylinder with a modified under-overdrive on a five speed tranny. The rig was light, responsive, and wouldn't bog down, but it had a narrow power and torque range, so I was constantly shifting gears, far more than anyone else on the circuit. I'd just published a couple of things in Analog science fiction magazine, so the guys started calling me "Gear Poet". <br><br>I can still shift with the best of them; my sixer is fine. ;D<br><br>GP
