Upgrading to IE 7

One word: DON'T DO IT!!

Just upgraded to IE 7, WHAT A HUGGGGGGGE MISTAKE. This thing is the biggest piece of junk to come along in a long while. The tabs are a joke, it shuts down alot, graphics suck, and on and on.

Didn't think I'd switch to Firefox but now there is no option.

I recently got the premium msn deal and started using the msn explorer and have not looked back since. I love all the features I now have with msn explorer and the email programs and so forth.

I've been running IE 7 since the first beta. No issues here, and tabbed browsing is exactly the way to go. Running the latest beta on Firefox as well. Working well on this machine.

I like it. I've been using the beta version for a while. I've had zero problems. I actually like the tabs.

I have been running it for over 4-5 weeks with no issues. Tabbed browsing is something IE needed bad, and it works as well as if not better than Firefox.

Ive been running every version of IE 7 since the betas.. tabbed browsing: OFF.

Im a two handed computer user.. so alot of keyboard shortcuts and alt-tabbing going on.. also side by side webpage viewing.. tabbed browsing is nifty, but too slow when youre trying to work quickly.

Other than that, IE 7 has been great for me.

Ive been using FireFox now for two years. I have to use IE at work, but thats not by choice.
I also use the "Mouse Gestures" extension for FireFox.
It sure is a nice add-on for FireFox.

Mine ran IE7 for about 2 months, then it started the classic MS instability. I installed firefox & haven't looked back...Keep in mind, I am a Linux/fsf/GPL fan

I didn't like it because it broke some highly used programs of mine that were previously IE 6 compatible. I had to un-install it because of that. I'm also seeing some formatting issues on some web pages as well. I do like the tabs but as it stands, I still use FireFox.

Upgraded when the final came out. I don't have any technical issues with it, but I absolutely hate the layout of the browser itself and the menus.

I was one that swore by IE. I never thought I would go to Firefox. But I've made the switch and I am much happier.

Wow, sounds like you got a crap version of IE 7. I've been running it since the betas, and never a single problem, I had 43 tabs open this morning, and it ran a bit slow, but mozillia crashes under 10 ten tabs at one time...

IE is junk & there is no IE for the mac. I really wish developers would quit trying to force it on the rest of us. I refuse to use it even on a pc, unless I am forced to.
