Hunter is out of ICU.

Report this afternoon is that he is out of ICU and asking for some water. That is a good sign. He is awake, coherent and talking. Just got up to speed on this, hope he doesn't lose memory of the good parts, like the painful look on the losers face when he was running from Hunter like a school girl.

Re:Update on Hunter - Feb 14

Sunday, 16th.

Just got word from Don's wife (Hunter) that he is sitting up and taking liquid. He is in pain but doing better. They removed something like 50 stitches from his head today. Mercy, that's a bunch. But, he is doing better. They are talking about arranging a flight out of Mexico for him to get to an American hospital.

Geez, I just got back from Cancun, Mexico last night. I'm shocked to hear about Hunter; glad he's doin' alright. That's going to be a challenge to overcome mentally I'd imagine. We actually plan on going to Mazatlan next winter; anyone know where Hunter was staying?

He was in Guadalajara (spelling? doesn't look right) in a motel for the night when they were attacked. The RV park in Mazatlan is right on the water. They had gone to shop with some friends and stayed overnight. They have not had problems before; I think this is a common winter thing for them.
Bob

Re:Update on Hunter - Feb 14

Just make an effort to be conscious of your surroundings. When you stop at the 7-11, do you jump right out of the truck to grab what you want? Or, do you take a look inside to see what's going on? Does the cashier look relaxed? This applys to any business your going into. I use to have friends bug me for a hat. I never gave them one, because I could see them going into a store and having someone run out, bump into them, think they're a cop and shoot them as they panic. If somebody's knocking on your door at night, call the police, they'll guide you through on what you should be doing. Nobody say's you have to be polite and open the door. If they're claiming injury, they'll be better off with you calling the police first anyway.
