Unfortunately I bought Dee Zee running boards.

I bought Dee Zee running boards last year and I can't believe how much they have corroded and deteriated. I called the company and they completely washed their hands of it. I even took them to a local dealer and they even said yep the units were defective and Dee Zee says to bad. I would never buy another thing from Dee Zee, a company that does not stand behind their defective products and could care less about their customers. I wonder way folks are buying imported products?

I feel your pain....I have a pair of "Smittybuilt" nerf bars that looked good thru the first winter...now after the second they are totally trashed.
I will never buy "*****ybuilt" again.

What a Nimrod!!!

Get some Mothers aluminum polish and spend the day polishing them up. Your fingers will be raw from rubbing against the diamond plate but they will look new again.. I had some on my 98 dually and after a couple of months they had completely lost their lustre. I shined them up and traded the truck in about a week later. What a waste of time that was but they were pretty again.....

I had a Westin push bar. Came with 3 yr warranty. Did get some rust streaks from the connections, but they polished up.

It's too bad stainless steel is so expensive...then you wouldn't have to worry about scrubbing so much.
