Any updates from the fights? Vera? Franklin? etc. lets hear!

 

Sylvia by decision.....I knew Tim would win but it was a SORRY fight....two terrible fighters one fight......SNOOZE!!!

Franklin was DESTROYED by the Spider! (again).
Franklin was knocked out by saved by the bell at the end of the first round, start of round 2 about a minute in Silva destroyed him once again and big John stopped the fight.

How do you win against the Spider? A: you dont!

 

Sylvia won...? Gheeez. I wanted Franklin to win. Thats stinks!

 

Another boring fight by Sylvia. He had 35 pounds on Vera, and used it to hold him against the fence. Yay. Atleast the end was a little more entertaining.

Good fight between Silva and Franklin. Those two are a classy pair. Lots of boos at Silva on his entrance, pretty ignorant I thought.

 

Yeah, this whole fight card was pretty bad. I couldn't get into it at all. The most exciting thing of the night is when they announced Brock Lesnar is signed with the UFC.

 

yea, i didn't buy this ppv, only one fight I was interested in and i'll find it online soon enough in the Franklin Silva fight. Seems like Silva's got Franklins card, lol. Franklin needs to go up a wieght class until Silva looses the belt. Anderson Silva is a class act guy, his comment about Franklin needing facial reconstruction surgery and how he wasn't proud about it at all was impressive. Most fighters in there would be bragging about it and sayin how they'll do that to everyone they fight. But on the other hand, franklin is just as much of a class act and it's to bad he had to climb the latter again just to get knocked out again by the same man. Thats why a wieght class change is the only option IMO for Franklin. The rest of that fight card was more of a fight night live roster than a PPV, shoulda been free, lol.

 

^^ I agree, I kind of figured Franklin was going to have a huge mental hurdle to get over with fighting him again. He was doing fine in the beginning of the first, then he got hit a few times, Silva put him in the clinch and Franklin had such a look of pure fear on his face. It was disappointing to watch I was really pulling for Rich.

The Tim Sylvia vs. Vera fight was a snoozer. Vera said he broke his hand in the first round, and after that It was just Tim pushing Vera up against the fence all night.

I'm glad I went to a friend’s house to watch the fights and did not pay for it.

 

yea, i just got done watchin them online for free, theres certain cards i'll pay for but this one only had one fight i wanted to see..
