Trip Pics posted

I posted a couple pics in my album folder from our Alaska trip - - several had asked for pics, so there are a few there. Great trip.

Smart Alec!!!!

I wonder what that park looks like right now after Rita??? Not a pleasant thought for such a beautiful place.

That looks like lots of fun......I went when I was 6 and have wanted to go back ever since. I think it would be a good place to live someday. The pics look great.

Looks suspiciously like a certain RV park in the lower Florida Keys to me .... I don't remember "salmon" being the dominant species down there Fiver ... I think you have been pulling our legs as to your true whereabouts

Pistol,
We were just trying to make you a little homesick. You will miss it in about three more months when the snow is flying. Sure made me head south in a hurry when I ran into a really good snow storm in Alberta.

Y'know ... strangely enough, I do miss the Keys a little. Stretched out on a hammock under a palm tree with a warm breeze and a Cap'n & coke .... puts you in a level of relaxed that is really hard to snap out of.

Looks like you had a great time in Ak. Those glaciers are something aren't they ?
My trip to Alaska consisted of 3 days on the ship, one of which was giving tours to the locals and the other two were mostly spent in Chillcoot Charlies Cantina.
Had a local drunk Alaskan Indian walk up to me in broad daylight (3 am) gave me a hug and handed me one of his Colt 45's (40 oz drinkable kinds). I gave him my Navy white hat and he was on his way, happy as a lark. Neat folks up there.

Cool pics Bob!

Have you thawed out yet? Looks a bit chilly there. You should really wear a hat when you go into areas with snow. All that snow stuck to your head could have, froze your brain.

Did she tell you to wear clean undies in case you were in a wreck?

Mine never did. She figured the embarassment alone would be enough to teach me a lesson. Boy was she wrong.

And yes, I'm just kidding. I wear clean undies at least 3 times a week.

I never told my kids that either. I figured if they were in a wreck they were gonna dirty them anyway.
