Saw that last night. I'd love to know how they drag that Dodge back out of there with the trashed motor.

That was a lot less of a brand test and more of simple truck abuse.

Beautiful country.

That show was great. I'm wasn't suprised the Fords steering slave cylinders were out, my old 76 was the same.

I saw that episode too.
I cringed when they crashed both doors on the dodge.
They done a nice job of trashing all the vehicles. Then again, that is what they do.

Kenai, seward-anchorage area, Denali- Hurricane train route- on McKinley the 12th, Artic circle area, Fairbanks-Chena, wandering back to anchorage to fly out the 30th June or so. 17 different forms of transportation. atv is NOT one of them! yikes.

The guy driving the Dodge is an idiot ! He is like some spoiled little brat with little sense and shows it regularly in the program !
I dont think he has ever been out of the city much less off the paved roads .
this guy is a candidate for DOM & DOMMER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just cant bring myself to liking the US version.
Ive watched it a few times, but it just pales in comparison to the original UK version.
Clarkson, May, Hammond (and the Stig) is what makes the UKs TOPGEAR my favorite show.
(And yes, I know all about Clarkson's general disdain for diesels)

Im just hoping the US version is going thru the first season growing pains like the UK version.
the first season of top gear in the UK wasn't that great. Atleast the UK version isn't trying to kiss the vehicle manufactures tail afraid to offend one and have sponsorship pulled off a network.

Looks like it may be on again tonight on the History channel at 8:00 central. Preview says "The search for America's toughest truck" but doesn't mention Alaska.
