I'd like to get a 120 volt air compressor for the shop. Mostly to just inflate tires, etc. Don't think I'd use all the fancy tools.

Anyone use one of these? I don't like those little 12 volt things that plug in the cig lighter. Home Depot has a Husky unit that is about $100.

Any adivse, I'd like to get one of these.

 

If you just want to inflate tires, what your looking at should do nicely. I have a larger compressor that I use in the shop for the air tools, but I also will be getting a smaller compressor to carry in the truck bed to inflate tires, etc. I'm looking at a 1.5 horse, with a 3 gallon tank.

Are the ones with the 1.5 gal tanks worth getting? I don't know if these are even 1/2 Horses, but I saw one for only $70.

Or is it worth spending more for a larger tank such as 3 gal?
