I wish we would just stay on daylight saving time. I leave for work so early that it is almost always dark (5:30 am). No big deal. I really like the light in the evening when I can actually do something with it.
I am not as far north as Bark, Pind or Cougar but during June and July it is light here until about 10 pm and it is light again by 6 am.
Just give me the light in the evening when it is useful.

Only the government would believe that you cold cut the top off a blanket, sew it to the bottom, and have a longer blanket.

I am pretty sure that depends on the ambient air temp, and the stack effect...
