Test drive experiences & interior room. (sorta a joke)

I went out and drove quite a few new trucks on the market.. None seem to really have a comfy interior compared to the dodge.. Im only just a tad over 6' but felt like i was squished.. Only the dodge had enough room.

Why do you think this is?

Im posting my answer tomorrow..

It goes back to an old semi truck joke, western star i believe was the brand.

I test drove a couple Chebys this year and couldnt stand them. It had this feeling I was in a minature Hummer with all the gizmos and buttons just to turn on the radio.

Anyone get to drive a Duramx with a manual? Our local dealer had one and it was the last 2006 Duramx they had left. I could not shift that miserable pile of garbage for the life of me. Second, I tried a start in second gear and killed it. The clutch was so harsh I could hardly let it out smoothly. It was aweful and I know why they quit making them.

Low and behold they had a used 2006 3500 Dodge sitting on their lot I had to go drive, especially since it had the manual.( also had to prove to the salesman I can drive a stick). Well, that Dodge took off in 2nd gear no problem, shifted smooth, and the clutch was nice and easy! Except that it had 4.10 and looked like a cat chewed every piece of plastic inside I almost considered buying it.

I did drive a Ford and though it wasnt bad, but just couldn't stand to imagine myself working under the hood. It was a slight maze of crap everywhere and from past luck Ive never been fortunate with Ford. Just my luck though I guess.

Well, glad you liked the Dodge, I havent found anything except the Dodge Sprinters to my liking. I did like them and I wouldnt complain about a Mercedes in the garage, but they dont import the 4x4's here. I also drove a Freightliner Business class, but cant justify the expense. Would be kinda cool though.

Oh i didnt really drive any.. just building up for a weak joke.

Dodge owners tend to sit a little taller in their trucks..

Hence why the chebby and ford were lacking in headroom.
