Team Roping

OK, I started a thread awhile back asking who team roped, but with that kind of deal it gets confusing and there maybe some members that didn't get to see it so here we go again. When you vote everyone will know who is, did, or does not.

I rode a horse a couple times... I was never very fond of the animal being in control of where I wanted to go...

It's amazing how fast people respond to a poll like this. Hmmm, I know I clicked on the button for showing who voted.

I have been around it, but I am not to fond of my horse power having its own mind as well. My ex-wife used to do a little heading with your boys from Straight Up and some others here in Wichita Falls.

Have you ever been to the NRS training facility in Decatur? That place is very nice!

I did

horses are gone for now, just sold them, no one in family has time to take care of them anymore. Im goin to buy just one solid horse and a good gooseneck for my CTD when i get settled in with customs. I dont rope very much anymore except for a dummy about 15 loops a week, just to keep muscle memory in check... Id love to start again with one good horse tho, and then go from there... I miss it, but i need a career first before a good rope horse and even a modded CTD.....

There will always be time for horses, ropin, cattle and moddin CTD's, BUT i wont always have the chances that I currently have.. Just hope it all goes well..

Pray for me fellas, i need yalls help...

Rick

I've tryed a few times, but lack the eye-hand coordination to throw a good rope I'll haze for the guys if they're practising heading, but I prefer reining and cutting......

Does "Goat Roping" count?
I've become VERY proficient at that in my present work location.

The only horse I was ever on threw me off and broke my arm in two places. I've had no use for them ever since. (except for fertilizer)

i usedtocould

i guess i started to do some rodeoing on the side in high school. did mostly calf roping, and bull ******* (cant no more because of knee damage) and some bull riding. we buuilt a 250x150 arena at our house and did a lot in the evenings and weekends. i also rode with Cowboys For Christ and we did a lot down there. got into team roping in 97, but graduated in 98 and went to college and the Marine Corps. havent done it since. the Marine Corps kind of takes up all my time now. did come home once on leave in 03 and was helping break one of our studs, and broke my toe and ankle, different story, but anyhoo, havent touched a rope in years.

Goat roping or scape goat? I'm about to go set up a center pin and I already have the rope and PVC pipe I need for my goat so I can go back to heeling her.
