yeah they can be to smart for their own good, but dang i will never own another dog. i took him to the farm this weekend in petersburg tx he rounded up the cows like a champ he keeps thinking thats what he should do when i let him out to run. out here we only have a couple cows and a horse out here. my aunt that owns this property out here thinks its so funny cause remmie will go up to the horse and get right up to his nose and lick it and run off!! so it should be interesting when we move to our own place in a couple of weeks

Life is better with a Heeler in it. I couldnt live without my boy Ralph. And YES, Heelers are supposed to have tails!

How old is he exactly? He looks big enough to at least be doing the dishes. Make sure you work him good. Got to keep his mind working or else! A bored Heeler is a destructive Heeler!

Make sure he gets plenty of physical and mental excersise of a flip flop will be the least of your worries! They are VERY destructive if left confined and alone for a while.

That pic of Ralph and the cow was when Ralph was 6 months. That was about his third trip herding. It was natural and after he learned his left and right he is the only way to get the cows up and where you want them!
I could talk Heelers all night! I really enjoy the breed and all they are about.
